Kailee Duggan — Train of Thought Tourwith special guest Rusty Someone (Folk-Americana)
Thursday, May 1
Kailee Duggan picked up a guitar at eight years old and never put it down. The Okanagan-based singer-songwriter has spent years honing a smooth, soulful Folk-Pop sound that feels both deeply personal and immediately familiar, the kind of music that pulls you in and makes you feel at home.
In 2025, Kailee released her debut album Train of Thought, a collection of reflective and endearing songs that find beauty in life's quieter moments. The album moves through themes of self-love and acceptance, addiction and mental health, the unravelling of codependency, and of course, love and hope. Her music has been featured frequently on CBC Radio One and CKUA, and listeners consistently describe it as warm, engaging, and authentic.
Kailee has built a growing reputation on the road, touring consistently across BC and appearing at festivals including a showcase at the Women in Music Global Summit in Toronto. She has shared the stage with acclaimed Canadian artists Dan Mangan, Steven Page, and Jill Barber, earning new fans at every stop.
On May 1, Kailee brings the Train of Thought tour to Aperture for an evening of heartfelt, honest songwriting. The night opens with a special set from Folk-Americana artist Rusty Someone. Come for the songs, stay for the stories.
